The GMB Method is a “movement re-education” program focused on creating physical autonomy and freedom in your life. Your body is how you interface with the world around you. Learning to use it better makes you more effective in everything you do. Physical challenges based in mindful, embodied, complex movements can help you develop creativity, physical autonomy, and confidence. Life is too short to make your body an enemy, so allow your training to be fun!
In this short two-hour workshop three certified GMB trainers will introduce you to the basic tenets of the GMB Method with a variety of movements and exercises pulled from GMB's most popular programs. Together we will explore ground-based locomotive exercises, build body control through mindful practice of novel movement patterns, and improve flexibility/mobility through targeted range of motion exercises. And of course, we will also be getting upside with an introduction to the GMB approach to handstands!
